Singapore : Chinatown : Chess players

Chess players

[Anglais] There is a place in Chinatown, outside of the Chinatown Food Complex,  where you can see old folks playing chess and checkers. It is always a good opportunity for photography. I have many shots of the place and the players with various cameras taken on other days, but that day I had the manual focus 50mmF1.4/S non AI lens on the D80. Non AI lens do non mount on the D80, but I have filled that one so it can be mounted. The light meter is not working, but a couple of test shots and look at the histograms does the trick.

  1. Great photos. I am going to Singapore in few days and have been looking it up online for a while. Glad I came across your blog; and am looking forward to having my own experience with this interestingly mixed culture
